Got my review today. Got an "Excellent" on a scale of "Unacceptable" to "Distinguished" (Excellent was just below distinguished). My boss, yes, the same one I've had problems with in the past, told me that she was very impressed by my ability to not only listen, but to put in practice what I had been told. That's far from the best compliment anyone could give you... it is, however, possibly the best compliment SHE could give you.

If there's one thing that is apparent is that she doesn't like people who have their own ideas or way of doing things and insists on dominating them into her way of doing things, or nothing. Unless, of course, you're her personal cheerleader.

Well, as far as adjectives go I think I'd rather be Excellent than Distinguished. Sounds too old and stuffy. :)
