he was massive!

funny story though: when we tried to put him back in he had sucked too much air into his swim bladder and couldn't get down past the thermocline to the deep water (which was salty and his home), so we actually had to stick rocks in his mouth, loosely tie his mandibles together, and throw him off the boat.
