South America

Has anyone been to South America? Anyone have any recomendations? I'm thinking maybe Peru or Bolivia(no marching powder jokes)instead of Slovenia for vacation...

My Dad always loved Brazil when he would fly down there.

If it were me, I'd go tot he Galapagos Islands, but I don't think that's the kind of excitement you're looking for.

Actually, I was looking into that if I'm in the region... I really want to see Macchu Picchu if I'm in Peru.

If you end up going to Machu Picchu, let me know how the altitude effects you. Kilimanjaro is much higher than Machu Picchu but I think it is high enough that you'll feel something. If nothing else, it should give Peruvian beer a bigger kick.
