Maux Maux sicky in hospital

Maureen was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes sometime on Mother's Day with a very high sugar level. She was taken to the hospital by her family after not feeling well for a few days. I'm very glad her brother came to her rescue. She has just faced a big bout with her life and could use some support right now

Thanks so much. You brought me so much unexpected love. I was discharged today. They said I'm a good student. (Gotta learn how to eat all over again, plus shoot myself with needles!!!) I'm with the 'rents the rest of the week - to get my strength up - so my Mom doesn't feel afraid that I'll get too high on insulin or too low..... And mostly to keep me away from cigarette temptation! 3 days and counting. Almost dying helps you quit! Very effective. In fact the last time I quit was when the Stiff Man Syndrome was trying to kill me. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm feeling the cravings! All is well.

You rule my heart. So many people called. I felt soooo loved. I can't thank you enough, my darling southern belle. Hope to be home by Sunday.
