That sounds so sad... I take it things broke off between you and Alan? I know things must seem SO terribly sad and dark and confusing right now... how desperate it must be at this moment. I was in that dark, sad place myself just a few months ago when things imploded between me and Holly... but you know what? I learned what you will soon find out: all those dumb platitudes people throw at you really are true. You really will come out of this stronger and better... and that, yes, you WILL find someone who is perfect for you and loves you for all that you are in the way that you need... you're still SO young, sweetpea... you really do just have to be patient because love, true love, just cannot be hurried... in the meantime, we're here for you in your moment of pain and sadness, my dear... like the man once said, this, too, really shall pass...
