As much as I wanna say, "its going to only get better from here", that would be a lie, and I dont wanna lie to you.
Your lucky to have spoken to him this much already. When my mom, and my two best friends deployed for Iraq, it was hard. At first, I got to talk to them a lot. But as they're time goes on out there, it gets harder. Ive gone almost a month, two months without hearing anything from my mom. Shes out there right now, and will be till almost july of next year.
But whats wonderful about it, is that you have all those navy wives and girlfriends youve befriended. They will help you tremendously and so will I. Its gonna be a lot easier than you think, its just getting used to the idea, that you wont have what your used to.
