OH MY GOD! Why is everything so goddamned disappointing?? Is it me? Is it an overly gloomy October? Are my standards for everything to high right now? Am I just being over-protective of myself

Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry. This October is, without question, overly gloomy. But at least it's very good weather for writing and cooking. And a cello and headshots are pretty damn bright spots.

I signed up for Nano. It's insane for me too, and I don't have the first clue what I'm going to write. But it'll be something. Maybe many things.

I'm going to make some tea. Come, have a virtual cup with me.
