This past week has been a grand blur of lovely.

June second, Sam's birthday. First stop: a trip to Sticky Fingers Bakery in DC, where I had a red velvet cupcake and a s'mores cupcake, and he had a sticky bun (I typed "sticky fun" and almost didn't realize it) and a PB fudge cupcake. We bought some famous Cowvin cookies, other assorted cookies,

The last week and a half was amazing in so many ways. I am so lucky to be with you. I miss you so much already, even though it's only been four hours since you left. Can't wait for this weekend! (And for you to come back to your Poolesville home. [That looks creepier typed out than I intended it.])
