i just watched that movie "Hostel"-- i'm never ever going to any part of the world without a big group of people and a damn good translator. fuggin scary. don't watch it at night.

i had a second interview today and thought it went well, but when i got home i had an email saying they usually require a 3.5 GPA and asking for an explanation. silly me, thinking a 3.2 and getting into the U of Chicago for graduate school meant i was smart enough.

i have now gone from not liking to disliking my roommate. bitch.

i want to strangle my roommate.

have you ever seen one of those vacuum-sealed pickles? those are gross.

i think the places i send my resume to need to IMMEDIATELY respond to me. this waiting around and trying to find a job thing sucks ass. i haven't left my apartment in two days, spent most of that time reading and not brushing my teeth. ick.

So i made it through a whole week of graduate school before dropping out (technically a leave of absence, but i seriously doubt i'll be going back). and now i am looking for a job ( Read more... )
