Amen. I totally wrote a paper my senior year of high school called "Operation Smack Iraq: this is a bad plan..." So I've always felt this way, however, I do recognize the problem of finishing something started. We shouldn't have been there in the first place, but I'll be damned if we're not gonna finish it so... I guess what I'm saying is,

"I shouldn't have been messing with my bro's eye condition, but now that he's bleeding profusely from they eyeball, I'd better try and patch him up and help him get to a doctor ... FAST"

I think that's what Bush was trying to say tonight as well, especially because he's on his way out and knows that a new prez will leave "his plan" and "his troops" stranded in the dust. He knows that he needs to at least rap up ONE thing in his career as president.

christ the whole state of the union address was about the war. yea thats a big thing but you're right, what the hell happened to domestic policies??

don't get discouraged. there are plenty of things happening around the country that are still good.

you just have to look at different media. which sucks.
