The post-QFAC post!
Where to begin?
First: I desperately want to thank the individuals who signed up to sponsor me:

Whatever the amount or conditions under which you offered to donate, I cannot thank you enough for your generosity.
Second: To everyone who left a review, knowing that in my harried schedule, I wouldn't have time to respond, but letting me know they enjoyed what I posted - thank you!
Third: I admit, I had wanted to post lots more, and on other stories besides Vertigo. I did the best I could, but of course, I'm a little sad that I didn't get more done, and I apologize to everyone who was hoping for more, and/or completed stories, and/or a different story to be worked on.
Four: The big word count!
So, in a previous post, I listed my pre-February word counts at 10,580 words for Chapter 7 and 3,506 for Chapter 8. Of course, then Chapter 7 was split into two chapters, and then split again. So let me document the fate of those original 10,580 words:
2,991 = incorporated into posted Chapter 7
0 = incorporated into posted Chapter 8
2,954 = incorporated into to-be-posted Chapter 9
4,635 = Discarded*
(*This is actually pretty standard for me. Because I post as I finish a chapter, scenes I had written for upcoming chapters often no longer fit, or I write scenes and then decide I don't like them and/or the direction they're going to take the story, etc. And eventually they end up in my scene and bunny graveyard, never to see the light of the internet, and trust me, we're all the better for it.)
SO, the total word for the post Chapter 7 was 10,104. Subtract the 2991 words written pre-February, and you have a grand total of 7,113 new words for Chapter 7!
Now, the original word count for Chapter 8 was 3,506. All of these words, however, are currently residing in my draft of the final chapter of Vertigo, Chapter 10. Every word of the 4,549 posted words of Chapter 8 was actually new and written in February.
This brings my February QFAC word count to:
7,113 (Chapter 7) + 4,549 (Chapter 8) = 11,662 (total)
Now, if I recall, every sponsor had a slightly different criteria of what they would donate for, and I know I didn't meet many of them. For example, a couple were donating for a completed Vertigo, which it clearly isn't, or for new chapters of Dragon Tamer Uncensored, which clearly weren't posted.
I want to be clear: Sponsors, you do not have to donate if I did not meet your criteria! If what you agreed to donate for wasn't posted, I still greatly appreciate your offer and generosity! I really, really wish I could have posted more, but it's my bad, not yours, so thank you again for your offer!

ps. Extra thanks to minerva276, who has sweetly claimed that she when she offered to donate for a completed Vertigo, that meant two more chapters, and since she got two more chapters, she's donating anyway. *hugs*
pps. I'm not going to fall off the face of the earth now, y'all. No worries :). I still have lots of fic to finish, and this month definitely got me on the buzz of writing again.
