We are now on the tail end of DAY 6 for Shane in only underwear, no pull-ups! He has been doing awesome with no major accidents and 2 days of being at school with no accidents and using the potty at school too. I kinda just decided to try cold turkey after it has been such a struggle the past few years with him. He is 6 which seems old for not

YAY Shane!! Maybe something cool for him would be to make a little chart for how many days in a row that he goes accident free and put stickers on it so he can see his own progress! That way it will encourage him.

I'm not exactly sure how to word this though but I'm trying to be as sensitive as I can (I have two autistic nephews so I sorta understand how hard things can be)... but I've heard of the disability that he has but I don't know much of it, I threw the above suggestion out because I want to help encourage him along! *big hugs*

Thanks, and no worries I just appreciate all the support I get from all of my LJ friends.

They have a sticker chart at school with him so he is doing one but at home he seems to be gratified enough by the occasional dum-dum sucker and high fives!

We are so thrilled around here!
