You dislocate your HIP? Ow. Anything that can be done for that?

Yeah - I had a tumor that ate away most of my hip when I was 20. Most of the bone came back eventually but it's still not quite right. I'll have a hip replacement at some point. But doctors here in my hometown aren't very nice. All they tell me to do is lose weight. I'm in anti-doctor mode right now anyway so that's ok. I'll come back when I've lost the weight and then they'll fuss at me for waiting so long. Some level of pain is normal for me so it doesn't disrupt my life.

You should live here, the medical capital of the country, those doctors are ridiculous to put you off like that. Check around for a doctor who will take you seriously.

I've tried and tried. I'm tired of going through the paperwork of switching doctors and getting referals. I've vowed to stay away from doctors this year. It's feeling much better. There's a bundle of nerves in the way right now but as soon as they shift out of the way, I'll be able to pop it in.
