I've lived with roommates for the past ten years, because it was just too expensive to live in LA on my own. I've definitely had my share of troubles. It's so hard, and so lonely to live with people you're fighting with, people who don't treat you with respect, and people who simply have nothing in common with you

I'll second that! I also have two comments:

1. I've had a hard time making girl friends since you both left and I'm not even in a new place. Making friends is hard.

2. Jehn, maybe everyone in SLO aren't assholes. I think it's really good you're going to go to school cause it gives you a chance to meet a whole new group of people, and they might be cooler.
