My thoughts on The Sopranos...
Ok, I will admit, at first I thought my cable went out. I think any dissapointment people may have felt was because we were *expecting* something huge; perhaps for Tony to flip, or perhaps for him to die. I will admit, for a few minutes, I thought he was going to flip. But there were no fireworks. Nothing huge. Then I remembered the line from Bobby earlier in the season when Tony asked him what he thought was going to happen at the end. He responded, "I suppose everything just goes black." Did the eerie looking guy that went in to the bathroom pull out a gun and start shooting? Did a bomb explode when Meadow opened the door to the diner? Was there some truth to the statement made a few years ago that the show would end in a cliffhanger and would be resolved in a movie? (As much as I would love that, it's never going to happen, friends.) Instead, David Chase made us think. Made us want. Made us expect. And honestly? I liked it...
