You know, out of all my friends, you're one of the very few who's actually living independent of parents. Now, I'll be the first one to say you could stand to find a better place to live, but on the whole I think you're doing better than you might think. I do think you need to be more willing to look for a new job--and for that matter so do I. With the current economy I wouldn't assume anything, but I'd think with as many years of experience as you have under your belt at Whole Foods, you could get work with some other grocery store chain without too much difficulty, which would give you more options for places to live too. There are other lines of work you might try too, though from what I've heard grocery stores are unusually good for pay and benefits
