Well, it's coming down to the wire on getting my dress finished. The party is TOMORROW night! ACK! Honestly, though, I think I will get it finished in time. The hardest and most time consuming part, the bodice, is already done.

I have been reminded, first hand, why couture is so expensive. There is so much time and hand-work involved int he process

All the detail and hand work you do to it is just amazing. I can't imagine all the things you've done to this dress. My mom sews some so I can only imagine what you are doing to make it look like it's right off the runway in Paris!!!!!

OMG! I miss you, too! I've been feeling so guilty about not being on the forum. And yeah, this is exactly where I've been. I've been working really hard, but it's turning out nicely and I'm so excited!

You know, I always tell people sewing's not really "hard"..it's just time consuming and takes patience. The patience is something I'm realizing I have more of now that I'm *cough* older. LOL

your welcome, you really did an amazing job. I always see people make there own dresses and stuff but I never even tired it. You know reading about it and actually trying it out, so kudos to you, by the looks of it you really got it all figured out :P
I don't think I'll ever do it though, I hate math... and measurements is in there somewhere. LOL I'm a joke .... who'd believe I have an accounting degree huh??

Honestly, though, knitting is hard! I tried once and couldn't keep the stitches even lengths. At least with sewing, a machine does the majority of the work. I just get the credit! *giggles*

Now. How can I use these skills to get a job making vampire costumes for the Twilight sequels? He he.....muahahah!
