that's really ashame. i think they should've picked them. and yea if you want to play around shooting stuff sometime that would be cool.

Here's some perspective that might make you feel better about this:

Do you remember the photo that took first place at that show in the TYME Gallery? Well, that guy got in touch with Georg and, interestingly, NONE of his photos got selected for the New Hope exhibit. So, this is a very unpredictable field that you're dealing with and, what might rock in some circles, doesn't necessarily translate to all of them.

I thought maybe that would cheer you up a little bit.

I'm still proud of you for giving it a shot.
