Ah families. My personal favorite family conversation went something like this.

Mom: Did you pick up anything for dessert for the party?
Me: Uh...no. Apologies.
Mom: *eye roll* Fine, I'm going to Krispie Kreme then.
Me: For what?
Mom: Yarn. I'm going for yarn.
