There is something so restful about relaxed animals (or children) makes me smile and feel all fuzzy inside just to see them...

He's got the cutest really furry paws too, with paler fur than the rest of him, you can't really see them on the photo. He's called Hoppe Ludentass, which translates as Jumper Furrypaws. He's very sociable and loves to have his nose scratched....

He has a calming influence on me too.... Scratching his forehead or behind his ears is very soothing. He oozes a kind of grey furry zen-like calm... Except in spring when we let him out on the grass and he gallops around his pen, and does happy dances around us.
