This is the most simple, and yet most mature thing I've seen you say for some time. Really makes me smile, and I'm sure God's smiling for you as well.

Memories are a consequence of sin, and it takes a long time, if ever, to erase those memories. They're a consequence, and you have to live with them. But you don't need to DWELL on them. Satan loves it when you do that. Learn lessons from them, and move on.

Have you confessed, and are you truly sorry? I once heard it said that, if you're sorry, then you also need to be willing to change.

Is God both your Savior AND your Lord? Do you understand who He really is, and what He's done for you? If you do, then what really matters is that He has forgiven you, and that is something that will last for eternity. What right do you have to hang on to the guilt, continuing to punish yourself? If you cannot forgive yourself, then you haven't truly accepted His forgiveness; it's as though you're telling Him that His forgiveness isn't good enough. You can move forward only if you accept His forgiveness.
