Foundation Brush

do you girls have a favorite foundation brush? Any recs? I'm okay with it being expensive as long as it gives great application and will last me a long time (ie won't fall apart after a few months). I heard that sable hair will give a better application for foundations. Anyone tried the Giorgio Armani sable hair foundation brush?

i love my giorgio armani foundation brush. it does a beautiful job. it's much prettier than using your fingers. and i think you need less foundation because the brush move evenly distributes the make up.

however, i think that MAC also makes great foundation brushes... and probably less expensive.

i probably would opt for the MAC brush (if i ever lose this GA brush). i don't think i would spring another $50 for a face brush. MAC also has a greater range of brushes~ i have brushes from both brands - GA and MAC. each are good quality.

the bare escentual brush was horrible. the top fell off of the stick.

i also heard some make up artists use brushes sold in paint stores (the high end quality ones). I would refrain from doing that because i wouldn't know whih brand was good.

I've actually tried the MAC foundation brush and I wasn't in love with it. I just got the Armani foundation but wasn't sure how their brush worked out. I think I might give the Armani brush a try. Thanks for your input!

sure~

i got the "designer foundation expert shaping brush". there's also something called "blender brush". of the two, i think the designer foundation brush might work better to lay down the make up.

you can look at both here:

wow I didn't even realize there were two different brushes. When I was at Bloomingdales last week, the Armani make up artist only told me about one. I will definitely check that out this weekend.
