People far too often define themselves by what they own rather than what they do. We can all take, but can we all create?

Defining oneself by what you own is a paltry thing to do. Everything we have is just a gift, ephemeral. On the other hand, I'm not sure if defining ourself by what we do is that much better (isn't that just an attribute, too, not the whole of the sum?), but it's a convenient shorthand. :)

I've made some private posts not so long ago. I don't have a whole lot of time on my hands to just hang out on the computer. If I have time to write at all, I try to make it something more worthwile, and usually in a notebook.

Ah, that's why I haven't seen anything. I deleted my LJ account and just use Dreamwidth. :) I make time to use the computer aside from work -- my handwriting is simply too slow, so frustrating! But then, I use my journal to work out thoughts on issues I have conflicts with and to keep in touch with my friends. So I tend to be verbose.

How is work treating you? :)
