So today my roommates, minus Jenn Bello, plus Heidi’s house (Liz, Kate, and Megan), plus the Rome girls (Amanda and Sarah), and I went to Perugia for some chocolate lovin’. The week was filled with fun lessons of past tense and the imperfect tenses of Italian. Oh joy. First use of several charcoal pencils in a drawing… the model was very fidgety. I’m sure many of the boys in the class enjoyed having this particular model this week. I think I’m better at drawing female figures, just because the anatomy makes more sense ( Read more... )

So last Friday marked the one-month mark of my stay in Firenze. This city is growing on me. It’s definitely different going to school in an “urban” city, if you can call Florence that, or maybe going to school in a touristy city. tiresome. Yes... I think the jet lag is finally kicking in, plus all the running around town. On average, I get up early and walk around doing errands from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Today I continued with the acupuncture in Oakland, along with a well deserved haircut and Boba. I also painted with acrylic... more abstract than the others I've done. I'm still not finished yet. I think the Denmark kids are over there already, which makes me even more nervous.
