En bonne santé (naaat)

For those who missed it, I was diagnosed with CFS/ME in 2010. Since then, I've met with specialists and late last year began physiotherapy in the form of Graded Exercise Therapy. However, earlier this year I began (on top of my "usual" symptoms) experiencing chest pain and difficulty breathing and so my new GP ordered an ECG, a spirometry and, in a ( Read more... )

Goddamn woman, the Team Lace curse of so many (rare and misdiagnosed) things to our bodies is flowing strong within u lol.

I hope you don't need a transplant of any kind and this booster shot fixes shit. Are you taking supplements in the meantime or after? Or will that put you at risk for toxicity? IDK how the shot works, but I do know that you can OD on getting a huge amount of the stuff. Maybe it's not that huge tho.

Have you considered yoga in addition to the GET? A low level class outdoors can do wonders for both the D3, stretching, and general feeling of happiness and calm afterwards for your blood pressure.

Try to find a cheapo place for yoga, take lessons 3+ times/week for a year or two and then you should be able to do it on your own at home!

Any recs on which type of yoga? There's a cheapish "intro to yoga" course nearby that gives tasters of Hatha/Iyengar/Ashtanga but ideally I'd rather skip that and get into just one.

Hmm...your symptoms sound suspiciously like mine.
I'm taking VD3 right now in liquid form every morning after kinda reading up on it. And after years of muscle pains and general fatigue I only now told my doctor about it because...I dunno, I grew up with a very lax attitude towards such things? No one believes me/takes me seriously when I do complain so it's been internalized I suppose.

I need a new doctor. How long have I been saying this now?

I hope this shit gets sorted out soon for you bb :(

Same with the "no one believes me/takes me seriously" thing. It takes a lot of pressure from family and friends for me to go and get vague symptoms such as chest pain checked out because I'm so certain that I'll be told it's stress or just one of those things. This was made worse by the CFS/ME going undiagnosed for 18 months for this very reason...

Plus I got so used to the fatigue/musculoskeletal pain that I thought it was normal and everyone experienced it ar...

Get hunting for a doc that's going to take you seriously gorl! Hope the D3 is doing thangs for you.
