People put their lives on the line for the freedom your are using. It's not to read about different points of view, even if I may not like/agree with all of them.

Tell me, Mike. How is killing innocent Iraqi civilians having any effect on my freedom?

Again, I mean NO disrespect to those in the military. They fight for their country, and that's amazing. In time of war, they are heroes. This war, however, is becoming a joke and there are American soldiers dying for NOTHING.

I meant that in a more general sense. As in, over the past 200+ years, people have put their lives on the line for this freedom.

I never have and never would argue against that.

I agree with Michael Moores right to make that movie but his proof has been destroyed! The Movie is about half true and half not. He has been attacked by all sides of this issues for what he said and what little to no proof he has. I have seen a good bit of it and choose not to see any more.

I urge everyone to make thier own choices in what they see but to never base any major decision on ANYTHING that comes from Hollywood! You can trust them just a little less than you can trust Washington D.C.

See it before you say that, Chip. He showed you facts. Actual meetings and actual gathering of Congress and actual footage of Bush and actual documents. Even if less than half of it WERE true, it's enough to make the man a criminal.

I watched F-911, and then I went and looked at the proof that he offered, which was sparse at best. I found the propanganda-esque nature of the film insulting, as if clever editing sequences would cover up Moore's half-truths and red herrings. Distracting the viewer with inconsequentials like George W's lack of public speaking finesse while glossing over some of the more important and interesting aspects of why Bush reacted the way he did, and how the intelligence community works. Is the war in Iraq entirely justified? Probably not. But I don't need Michael Moore's biased documentary to outline conspiracy theories for me, I just need to know which candidate is going to fix the problem.

If 1/4 of that thing was true, it would be cause enough to boot him out of office. And it was.

I never said that everyone should base their opinions around this documentary. It's something people should see and form their own opinion about, no matter which way it swings them.

One thing is for sure. If we re-elect Bush, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. If we elect Kerry, at least there's a chance it will.

How you know nothing will change? How do you know that electing Kerry won't be a change for the worse? Does the president really matter. Tiny fluctuations in a bigger picture, checked by the hundreds of thousands on influences on economy, politics and industry. Does one man really have that much power anymore? I don't think so...I believe that regardless of who is in office, they are subject to human error. No one is infallible...I can't see electing Kerry as a huge positive change, and keeping Bush in office for another 4 years at least limits the possibility of important intelligence information getting lost in the transition.

Are you kidding? Wow, Ashley. I expected more from you, especially from someone who wants to work in the arts.

The reason the President has such power is because he is the one who appoints the people IN power. Example: The US Attorney General was a man who ran for office in his own city and lost to a DEAD guy. They didn't want him. Bush took him and appointed him AG for the US. The director of the FBI sat this man down on multiple occasions during the summer of 2001 and told him that there were threats for terrorist acts in the US, and that Osama's people were training on our own soil. What did Ashcroft say? He said that he didn't want to hear about any more terrorist threats. Sure, that wasn't Bush's fault, except that he APPOINTED the bastard. The president has more power than you think. There are people dying over there in Iraq for no reason. At least if we get Bush out of office, THAT will change. The world hates him, and because of that, they hate us.

Not only that but he has a book out to go along with the documentary that shows, as far as I can tell, every source he used. I only flipped through it and stopped at very few pages but that's what it was! How cool is that?

He also put out a book of letters written from members of the military to him. I read a few.

Heartbreaking.
