Mr. Little & I went to see a great documentary tonight about the fabulous Warhol-ette, playwrite and poet, Jackie Curtis. It's funny, glittery, tragic and inspiring all at the same time. What IS Von Dutch? It just registered on my radar after probably having seen it thousands of time and never really paying attention or asking myself what it is. Is it always pink and black? I guess I just thought Von Dutch were car parts or a stip club or something for the longest time.
I can't believe you felt strangley dressed at Palms? Cops, gaysians, more cops, thai Elvis and his colorful, sequined comrades? No? OK.

Von Dutch should be 'car parts', but sadly, it's just a fashion brand that is horribly overexposed and label whorey. It scares me when any new company starts something then becomes so powerful over the hearts and minds of teen girls everywhere. As for the Palms . . . this night was strange from the get-go, so it's not really the establishments fault, but we actually did get 'looks'! No gay guys or cops in sight. A very straight crowd on Friday, tourists perhaps? I still adore it though, don't get me wrong! I tried to say hello to you last night at your 'office', but alas you were invisible, and they didn't have the one Jonathan Richman LP I really needed. Bummer. I had thai iced tea, so i'm very talky. oh id love to see LA become this glittery place with boa wearers and falsies galore...eyelashes that is. Too bad i left LA..im moved to arizona..aka hellazona. I feel exactly the same way you do when you were in Thai Elvis...but i feel like that 24/7. Maybe its the crazy clothes..but anyways. Von Dutch..i agree but about the low rise pants id love to not wear these buttcrackshoweroffers but i am a skinny twiggy with these huge hips and butt(yes i am awakwardly shaped) and low rise pants only fit me....shame but i cant help in that area doll!

Oh, don't get me wrong . . . I too own several pair of 'hip huggers', but we are not the kind of creatures to which I am referring. I'm talking about the cluelessly provocative'thongshowoff' types. So don't sweat it babe. You're still too cool 4 school in my book.

I know what you mean...the Paris Hilton type of girls that think its enduring and very sexy to show those thongs off when they bend down...ugh!Lets just say us girls are the only ones who could work the low rise...wooh!But it is all about the stomach 70s calvins!dont you agree??
