While I adore my new Hollywood bungalow, it was a bit out 'o' my budge when I moved in, being that i'm a freelancer and all. wow i am a big Vincent Gallo fan. I would never be able to part from a book as rad as that...but a girl has to have a roof over her head! Good luck.

That is really sad news about your column. I started reading Ellegirl when I was doing a paper on the representation and marketing of sub-cultures in Teen magazines, for a Women's Studies course I was in. As far as teen magazines go Ellegirl was head and shoulders above the rest(the less said about the kind of advice they dish out in Cosmogirl the better). It really is unfortunate to loose one of the few mainstream magazines for teenage girls that actually encourages creativity and individuality in its advice columns. So, before I go off on a depressing Marxist tangent about the commodification of identity, I just want to say good work, and I hope the next book goes well.
