So we're finally selling the Brandt family abode, and i've had to do a major Summer cleaning, starting (of course) with my closet and all the vintage wares i've collected that never actually adorn my being. So all you second-hand sweethearts should keep your eyes peeled because i'll be posting some doozies all weekend : ) Here's the link to my eBay ( Read more... )

Congrats on the book deal! Always cause for Yippee-ing! : )

Very sorry about the awful letdown in the mysterious gentleman dept...glad it didn't go any further...what was he thinking, indeed!

I checked out what you've put up on Ebay so far--nice stuff, all of it! I'd be bidding like a madwoman, but we're moving too, so I'm listing, too....but I hope you do a bang-up business!

Jennifur,

I'm sorry about the gentleman (should he even be called that?). When a guy does something I can't stand, I just remembe this line from "Grease". I think it went like this:

Men are rats. No, they're fleas on rats. No, they're amoebas on fleas on rats.

Dang, you unfriended me! But the red wine came out!! In fact, I'm wearing the skirt right this very moment.

I'd convinced myself you'd probably want me to . . . I have been told that I have a guilt disorder, and I was even still cringing over my clumbsiness on the plane back to LA, and whenever I thought about that night : ( I just felt so terrible and figured since I didn't hear from you, you know . . . kaput with me!

But I am so happy that you've found it in your heart to forgive, and next time I see you in NY, i'll buy you aan expensive (white) wine, or better yet, vodka!

Aww, lady. No problems! As I said, with some of that incredible OxyClean, it came out. Not 100%, but so close that you can't even tell. I still wear it as if nothing happened. Feel badly no longer!

Miss Jennifur,
You have no idea how much your book inspired me. (Life is a Movie Starring You)
I carried it around with me for 2 years in my capacious purse until the binding fell apart. Now it's home is on my night stand.

I just wanted to say thanks for being an absolutely fabulous, glam chicka!

Your adoring fan,
Sophie
