Haha, I was trying to figure it out for you loverly Americans, but it is next to impossible to try and convert it due to the different systems. I mean... We don't have A- or B-, we just have A's and A+'s. And the way our credit system works is different too, 6.0 is the average amount of credits for a full year course, although some are 9.0. So... Haha.
My parents are happy, and that is what matters lmao!
Lol. Well to try and put it in perspective... I need a 5.0 GPA to say in my program, which is a C+ Most of my friends have C+ or B averages, so 5.0's and 6.0's. I am at 7.6 myself lol.
You smarty pants. :P hehe. Yes, we do use 4.0 grade system down here. I used to get around 3.0. Not nearly as smart. I think the highest I got was 3.3. CONGRATS!

Yes it was an awesome course. I loved the professor although he will not be doing it next year. The reading list included A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, A Room of One's Own, Wuthering Heights, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Mao II, and Song of Solomon. Apparently according to the York website, depending if you are taking English 1100 A or B, this site will help you for the 2006/7 year : http://www.yorku.ca/paolucci/1100/syllabus-eng1100.html

If you are taking 1100 A, then I would recommend looking at this particular page:
