For those of you who may have noticed my absence from both real life and livejournal life, the reason I have been majorly MIA is because I have the first draft of my thesis due this Friday at 4pm.  Good God.  Despite the fact that he knows this,  jowe has nudged me to post since, frankly, it's been a while.

Thanks for tagging me... since lately my livejournal has turned into some weird ongoing project of fiction, I'm going to have to post my list of things that lower my stress/blood pressure/anxiety level as a comment to yours, since I can't bear to interrupt mine.

Things that lower my strees/blood pressure/anxiety level:

1) "Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus. Jenni, I'm sure you don't listen to Incubus, but this song is not their typical composition. It embodies relaxation. Look into it.
2) Running down the hall screaming.
3) Playing frisbee.
4) Being sober late at night with a lot of relaxed drunk close friends.
5) Reading in a back aisle of a large bookstore.
6) Successfully getting lost on purpose in a big city, alone.
7) Driving down a country road with my head out the window/sun roof.
8) Writing letters in class.
9) Jumping into a lake with all my clothes on
10) NYC Museums
11) Playing the piano for hours straight
12) Lake Minnewaska, NY. Heaven on Earth, 30 minutes from here. Maybe one day I'll show you.
