Iberia flights (mine included) were so overbooked leaving Madrid today that two full coach buses plus some were sent to a complimentary 4 star hotel to spend the night wishing they were on their way to where they were going already

except for the whole just f'n wanting to be home already (which i quite understand) the situation sounds damn sweet. if all works out as you say - then - you had an awesome trip with your brother. neither of you got hurt/died despite being in/near/dangled from? a helicopter, you got free food and a stay in a 4 star hotel, and now you basically are getting another free plane ticket? (personally i'd look at that reimbursemnt as an excuse to buy another transcontinental ticket, not to pay back the one already bought...)

i havent been able to keep up with LJ much but from what little ive read it sounds like you´ve had lots of adventures abroad this summer. i hope you had a great time!

im leaving mexico next tuesday, and boy do i ever want to be home. are you happy to go home as well?
