So even though I've essentially stopped posting around here, I am still around and reading. Just don't have much to say these days. I still do keep up with you guys though, I've just gone into extreme lurker mode
( Read more... )
I've only watched 2 eps of Ashes to Ashes so far (I hadn't seen season 2 of LOM yet even though I thought I had...) but I love it.
And my GOD. Season 4 of the Wire was the most... man it just killed me for so many reasons. And depressed me for a very long time. I'm trying to figure out if I can wait until season 5 comes out on DVD or if I need to DL it now.
So I've watched more- I'm at episode 5 now (I think... I ended late last night and I'm not quite sure. It all blends together when you watch them in a row). I'm really enjoying it even if the clown does freak me out a bit... well a lot.
Not quite sure If I love it more than LOM though. I miss Sam Tyler and really want to know if we get anymore info on his death and the seven years in one second that he lived in Manchester. Keeley is awesome and hot though. Alex Drake (and Gene Hunt) is made of win.
Life on Mars is the best thing ever. Single best thing I've ever seen on TV. Have seen only the first two Ashes but am having a great time with that as well. Can't wait to get the gang together to keep watching! Am so ridiculously in love with Phil Glenister it's not even funny..

So what do you think of Ashes to Ashes?
Didn't S4 of The Wire BREAK YOUR HEART AND SOUL?

Sometime in the next few days I need to find the time to watch Byron. I'm told he's fantastic in it. Did you watch Cranford on PBS?

Working on Spooks right now for the Keeley factor, but once that's done, will go back for all things Philip.
I've also TiVo wishlisted them both.
