I can't even articulate how relieved I am that this election is over. My preferred candidate won, and now I don't have to give up and move to another country

The reaction has been really weird here in Canada as well. For the past seven or eight years it has seemed that no one has had anything good to say about American government, something which has at times ended up becoming a reflection of American citizens in general. And suddenly it seems everyone is excited for the USA because of this election's results. The outlook has changed so quickly, it's quite strange.

I do think it's good that the racial-barrier was broken. Now if someone outside the luxury-class could actually run for office we'd really be getting somewhere!
