Kate and I painted our apartment this weekend. Her parents came up and helped us out, enabling us to paint the kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms all in one afternoon. I got my first secondary this morning. It was from the University of Kentucky. It's an online essay thing. Either way, I'm just excited that I got the secondary. I'm going to spend most of the day writing essays and whatnot. OK, that's really all I had to say.

My niece is here sharing Christmas with us this year, which makes things a little different. We didn't wrap a whole lot of her gifts because she really doesn't care. But, she really cleaned up. Well, spring break was not as productive as I initially hoped it was going to be. My calc test is Monday night, and I still have about 50 problems to do. Yikes. Not to mention working 12-8 today, 11-7 tomorrow, and 11-6 on Monday ( Read more... )

So, this week is my spring break. It's a little different, because unlike at FSU, spring break doesn't really cut the semester in half...more of in thirds. Either way, it's still a nice break. So, I got a job at Subway a few weeks ago. I though, well, since I'm only taking 13 hours, then I can probably work 15-20 hours a week. I mean, I worked that much in high school. I forgot college was a lot harder than high school. Not to mention, 3 of those 13 hours are lab hours, which means I'm actually in class about 17 hours a week, not 13 ( Read more... )
