Should I be pissed that I am the only one who didn't get a cost of living raise this year? I just did the data entry on 08 salaries and mine is unchanged. I mean, in September of 2006 I took on added duties and received an 11% increase in my salary. But the new Business Manager started at the same time and he gets the COL increase. I have been here

That sucks ass. Two years ago I got a measly 25 cent raise and I wanted so bad to throw a quarter at my superviser and tell her if the company needed it that bad they could choke on it. But I didn't.

And I'm glad because now I'm in a new department with a new supervisor and she got me a decent raise when I started and is promising more down the line (especially now that I'm licensed).

OMG I cannot even FATHOM what it would be like to make that amount of money. Especially after 10 years at the SAME company. I was making that when I was 19 years old.

However, I live in a city where cost of living is RIDICULOUS, so I wouldn't make near as much money there as I do here..
