You already know I liked this story, but hey, I’ll give you some feedback again anyway. *g*
Nice job showing how empty Dean feels after Sam leaves, and the growing distance between John and Dean. You can really feel the hole that Sam left behind.
Favorite lines:
He was gonna get drunk, and if that pissed Dad off, well, too fucking bad, huh? Dean didn’t really give a rat’s ass.

He pressed a wet towel against his bleeding face and took refuge behind the closed door of the room he used to share with Sam. Now it was his room, and it was too big.
It was too quiet.
I really like this, using the empty room to show just how wrong things are without Sam around.
The silences were long and brittle, and too full of things left unsaid.
Lovely line.
On a purely instinctive level, who the hell would be stupid enough to ignore something so obvious?
