cut for length and so you don't *have* to read my rambling
first, out with the old...
January sucked because:
- I got a nasty cat bite which got infected almost immediately. it was not fun.
- I sprained my ankle on the way to my sleep study.
- My sleep study had no immediate results.
- I got my hours cut at work and got a 'talking to'.
- Found out my insurance has an exclusion against WLS.
- I found out my meds have been making me worse.
- I was fired.
now the salvage...
January was salvagable because:
- my wrist is mostly healed.
- my ankle is somewhat better.
- i got to do karaoke with the pirates and found a new bar w/ karaoke dj's i like.
- i found out why i have been so off/screwed up/tired.
- i got some wedding plans made, and the site reserved.
- i was reminded that my doc is awesome.
- my doc says fight the insurance re: WLS.
- my last paycheck and severance will cover feb. bills.
moving on...
February will be better because:
- they found out what was wrong with me, and my doc and i are working together to fix things.
- i will look for a job where i don't have to have an impending sense of doom, or passive aggressive coworker/supervisor dude.
- bills are covered, and i qualify for unemployment.
- i have faith, hope, and Ryan.
Random good stuff:
- I have lost 3 lbs.
- my moods are better, just since sunday, but that counts for something.
- today i had lunch at subway with ryan and i only ordered a 6-inch sub. 320 calories.
- today i worked out at the gym for the first time since july. i felt the burn. it felt good. i worked my upper body and burned 365 calories on the elliptical.
