This has been a really bad past few days. Thursday night Dan was killed in a car accident. He plowed into another car that turned in front of him. He was killed, the other driver was killed, and 2 passengers in the other car were critically injured, one is brain dead, the other is paralyzed from the neck down and is connected to every machine

what's the big difference between someone being hit by a drunk driver or someone who is intoxicated by some other substance? had the person been on some sort of heavy pharmaceutical would you say "if you take codeine i am not your friend anymore! i don't care if you broke your leg!" alcohol is just as much a drug and just as much an inhibitor as weed or any other FOREIGN SUBSTANCE. getting ass wasted is just as bad as getting high when it comes to driving. your whole argument against drugs is a faulty one. you can't say anything about drugs without saying the same thing about alcohol. think up a better argument.

People don't get killed over alcohol. Since when have you heard of someone getting shot and killed over selling alcohol? Never. How many times have you ever heard people getting shot and killed because they were drug dealers? A ton. If I have a choice I will never use or condone buying or using a material object, or substance that causes so much violence.

yes. people DO get killed over alcohol. i've heard of many winos getting killed over it, which is the same as some drug fiend wanting a fix and killing for it.

alcohol causes SO much violence. how many fights break out at parties? A LOT. what, does that kind of violence not count just because you want to be able to drink?
