Beware, I reappear!
Sorry about falling out of the habit of posting again. Things have been busy here and I've been too tired to bother much with LJ recently. But I return, apartment fully unpacked, to show you pictures!
First, I give you...my apartment from the outside! Here's a view of my front door.
And now the other side, which is where my garage door is (it's the small one, the big one is rented out separately to other people).
And now, the inside of my garage, with my license plate disguised. XD It's a really nice garage, really deep, so it's perfect for storage (there are little areas on the sides where I'm keeping all my storage-type stuff for now).
My front door and the door from my garage open up into a little 3'x3' landing. This is a shot looking up the stairs.
At the first landing, there's a turn, where you can see up into the apartment proper.
Standing at the top of the stairs, you can see my living room, complete with my awesome media nook!
Here's the living room from the other side.
From the living room, you can look into the kitchen, which is unfortunately smaller than my last kitchen. I'm still sort of trying to figure out where to put everything. XD
Here's the other side of the kitchen. I finally found a place to hang that whiteboard! :D
Across the kitchen is the laundry room. The washer and drier are pretty much the exact same models as at my old place. I wonder if they're sold in bulk or something.
Backtracking a bit, near the stairs is a hallway leading to the guest bedroom, which I'm using as an office. There's a set of shelves built into the wall, so that's where all my weird decorative stuff goes! Also, cat food!
Across from the shelves is a guest bathroom. A very looooong guest bathroom! I had to throw away the old shower curtain for gross reasons. Haven't bought a new one yet. >_>
Here's the office, from the hallway! Yep, lots of junk, but...
Not nearly as much junk as on the other side of the room!
Oh, and if you were wondering what was hanging on the wall, it's my housewarming present from my brother and my diploma (which costs WAY too much to frame, btw. >_o).
And here's my computer desk, now with 157.3% more monitor than the last time I posted apartment pictures. Yes, that number IS accurate. Yes, I AM a giant geek. What of it?
Heading back out past the living room, we get to the master bedroom. It's a bit darker in this room than it was in my old apartment, but I don't much mind. Makes it much easier to sleep in on the weekends. I really need to find something light and not-life-threatening to hang above the headboard.
Here's the other side.
Aaaaand another shot, so you can see the window.
Opening up one of the two doors in the bedroom leads to the closet. I love this closet. It's so huge. I have room for everything. I was starting to seriously run out of space in my old place. Stupid work clothes. XD
And the master bath, because I'm sure you were dieing to see it. :p
Abandoning the bathroom and heading back to the living room, there's one more door we haven't explored. It leads out to the balcony, which is almost fully enclosed and really very pleasant even when it's hot out. My dining set has become an outdoor set, as you can see, and I now have a papasan chair!
Looking out from the balcony, you actually get a pretty pleasant view.
In both directions.
So there you are! I really love the new place. :D
