What's wrong with food manufacturers?

Why is it that no fat so often equals LOTS OF SUGAR?  Even in things like SALAD DRESSING?????????????

Yick...  I should've gone with the full fat...  Must drink lots of water...

Because food manufacturers want to push your buttons, and fat and sugar do so nicely?

Most people just focus on one thing- "I'm cutting fat" or "Sugar-free" so they can counter-punch with the other trigger. Fat and sugar are also cheap.

Often, low fat also means titanium dioxide and modified food starch and fillers. I gave up long ago. And I have the body to prove it.

Peeve: things that have *both* sugar and an artificial sweetener. Especially when it's something like, say, grape juice. WTF? Because it isn't sweet enough already?
