Mom and took the kids to the North Pole in Colorado Springs on Friday.  It was a lot of fun and the kids absolutely LOVED it!  I got to do a tiny bit of shopping at Target (my favorite store) and Old Navy.  I got some really cute school shirts for Grant and Kari, real cheap too at Old Navy.  Thank goodness.

Today I took them for their pre-school

Wow Grant is tiny! How funny that Kari is bigger than him!

My girls are different personality wise, Gracie is more outgoing and Gayle is much more reserved.

And I bet he will amaze you once he's in the classroom, I know I worry a tad about Gayle but I have faith that she'll find her niche. I think it's just hard for her because she realizes how academic her sister is.

Thursday = the 23rd

Alek starts 2nd grade tomorrow and is almost tall enough that I can put my chin on his head without leaning down even slightly. He looks 10 (except the big lost front tooth that he pulled out on Saturday)

The mommy anxiety never goes away. Get used to it. :)

I'm crazy, but that's OK. Its not my fault. I blame the drugs.

WOW! I just read your journal! You have been through SOOO much! *HUGS* I hope and pray that things will get back to normal real soon for you. Are you feeling better now? How did Alek's first day of school go?

I wish SOOO badly that I could come to Florida in September and have a girl night with you....I'd so love to do that (not to mention that I need one of those too). However, we are trying to pay of credit cards right now (we charged our summer vacation(s) on them and so we really need to get them paid off soon before we are paying double for what we spent (because of interest). So, not now...but sometime soon, I hope. We have friends that have a time share in Florida and they keep hounding us to use it and take the kids to Disney World. Deffinately when we do, we will come and see you as well.
