Pee in this ladle, please

The vet wants to check Maggie's liver enzymes(?) to see how she's handling all the arthritis medicine.
I had to follow her outside this morning and catch her "first urine of the day" with a soup ladle.
Bet you'll think twice next time I serve soup.

I would have used a plastic cup, but that's just me. I happen to have plastic cups because we take the kids to restaurants. ;-)

What made you think to use a ladle?

But since I'm just now finding you out here, I figure there's no harm in it. I think it is at this point I am thinking about how happy I am we did not in fact have anything requiring the ladle for serving at dinner last night.

Given that if we had, I'd either be laughing so loud my boss might call security right about now...or cursing loudly enough to inspire same :-D.
