That is awful! I'm so sorry to hear it. I was aware of the situation with his illness, but I just haven't been keeping up with LJ. :( I'm sorry for that, too.

I'm really sorry to hear that - I lost my father twenty-seven years ago, and the pain only recedes some, it never goes away. But it does become bearable, eventually.
