little buds of learning
Clara is over thirteen months old and learning is continual and joyful. She has taken to saying choo-choo as she plays with her sister's wooden train set. She gets closer and closer to saying her favorite teenager's name, Miranda. It comes out like "RAN-DI" in this adorable, punctuated proclamation. I could bring my little ones everywhere. I wouldn't mind but the world does. I don't want to go anywhere they can't, but tonight I gave my word I would see friends and I can't bring Clara. :( *sigh*
I wish my friends understood I can not be away from my girls. Not for forever, but just for right now. -
fairy tale
Today felt like a wintery scene in a fairy tale. My curly headed scamp running to the window, nose pressed up to the glass looking at the snow in perfect awe. My soft, cooing infant blinking as the wet snow kissed her eyelids. My dear partner trimming the tree we just cut down with tiny white lights. changes
So the biggest change that is about to hit my little home is that I will be returning to work in about two weeks. With this comes Lily returning to her babysitter (my friend Kathy) and my Clara starting day care with the same babysitter.
