Still with the broken leg

Last time I posted I was waiting at a rehab home for the swelling to go down enough for the doctors to operate. I got back to the hospital, Danderyd, on the following Wednesday, October 21st. By then the swelling had gone down, but while doing so had formed a blister, which had broken. And of course the damaged skin was just where the surgeon

It does sound very very boring. Good luck. Hopefully as the pain abates you will be better able to focus on things and less bored?

I hope so! I'm still taking morphine, though I am planning on trying to do without it tomorrow to see how it works. I think the morphine affects my focus as much as the pain.

And here one is thinking breaking a bone only means that you have to wear a cast. Yes, I do know other problems can arise - I'm just sorry it had to befall you. So no rocking around the Yuletide tree this year then. Hope you heal quickly now!

*aie* -- so sorry for the pain! but at least it sounds like they've fixed it well, so now you can look forward to getting better. i know from experience the pain will lessen; hope it happens soon!

yeah, both pain and morphine screw with your focus, so as you get better you'll be able to concentrate again.
