Kim and I are going to LA for a week. She's been wanting to go dancing for a while and I suggested that we do it while we are in LA. I am exceptionally nervous about it. Not the dancing, but the LA lesbian scene. I know it's dumb, but I'm not very confident around attractive women. In Kansas City's lesbian scene, it wasn't so much of a problem. ( Read more... )

I suspect that the key in this, as in most everything, is self-confidence and not worrying about what anyone else thinks. I know that isn't something that either of us is very good at. Kim can help. She thinks you're great no matter what you're wearing. She's right. You just need to fake that you agree with her until you actually feel it. Have fun. Miss you.
