Don't call opposing counsel a liar. Generally doesn't lead to consensus building.

But hey, I don't have 30+ years as a litigator. What do I know?

I would think calling someone a liar in a professional setting would just be a bad thing.

What does Tuesday evening look like for you? Perhaps some dinner and Tour?

Maybe, the week is generally bad. Email me your phone number and I'll call you if we head over to HBG.

The one time in my life I was deposed I asked the attorney to please quit trying to trap me because 1) I was telling the truth so it was easy for me to keep my story straight and 2) I'm much, much more intelligent than him. I glanced over to see the court reporter smirking. After wards I asked my attorney if the other attorneys boss was going to read the transcript and he replied, "Oh, yes." :)

I hate the lack of civility. I'm sorry opposing counsel was an ass to you. I hope his supervising attorney reamed him for his behavior.
