Wont they give you a pregnancy leave? Most places do when youve been there a while. Take that and whatever vacation pay you earned then bail out!

Yes, I get maternity leave. which I will need to take when I actually have the thing which isn't for another 6 months. I was sorta hoping for the divine interference of a smart, creative, interesting, challenging, really well paying position to fall from the sky NOW so I could start, work for 6 months and then take a month off. Which of course they would be fine with. and GLAD to have me back!

I read one statistic which said that hurricane katrina destroyed 150 million jobs. that's 150 million people OUT OF WORK and looking for a job in surrounding areas. *sigh*

I should find a way to make myself happy where ever I am. Sometimes I can. Other times, like when they make me make big signs that say "Rocktober" because that's the Sales Promotion they're having this month to motivate the sales team (of like, 7 really bitter and soul-less people who couldn't give a shit less) it's harder to find my happy place. it makes me want to shrivel and die.
