Second Life has sucked the sister out of my sister. I've been trying to say hi to her for the past 2 hours, not a peep. I know she's there, she's on Second Life ... with her 'boyfriend' too busy to even say hi to her sister. Grrrr!

Looks like someone could use a lesson in the real meaning of life. Next time she fails to respond, find the breaker box in the house and physically kill the power to whichever room she's using for the computer, and leave it off for a while.

while that sounds all well and good there is one major flaw. I live in Arkansas, she lives in Connecticut ;)

Which is pretty much why I don't mess with SL, because it sucks people in. And as I have no desire to have yet another thing to keep up with, I see no point in it.

SL is absolutely pointless ... at least my other games have a goal or point

That's because it's not a *game*, it's a 'chat program' which just happens to have graphics. And yes, it's utterly pointless, and caters entirely to people's inability to read things and visualize them. Otherwise, IRC and FurryMuck would be top of the line still.
